The Apple Store is down right now, and that usually means one of two things; maintenance, or a new product launch.

Seeing as today is March 2, we’re going with answer number 2 — new product launch. It’s been confirmed by Apple that their scheduled media event for today will revolve around the new iPad 2.

There’s been tons of speculation so far on what changes we could see for the iPad.
