Get iPhones on 4.2.1 Working with Ubuntu

If you’re like me, you updated your iPhone to iOS 4.2.1, only to realise you now can’t open it in Nautilus. It’s a simple, 10 second process to get it working again.

Open Terminal, and enter this code.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pmcenery/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
Once you’ve done that, your iPhone will mount and you’ll be able to pull the photos off it.
