As promised by Comex, the new JailbreakMe, code-named 'Saffron' was made open source by the author and the source code is now available on GitHub. In this way, developers outside the project or merely curious can study the code and possibly improve 3.0 JailbreakMe releasing new copies.
According to the first hacker who could analyze the code of Saffron with a few days ahead of publication on GitHub, the work of Comex was truly exceptional. This is because the hacker has used exploits that, according to experts, are really ingenious.
With the publication of source code ends probably one of the most intense chapters of the jailbreak, note that in JailbreakMe has been and is currently the first and only tool that allows you to jailbreak iPad 2 directly from Mobile Safari, so without having to resort to a physical connection of the device with your computer.
