When one of the user asked Musclenerd: how much longer would it take? Weeks or months?…seriously thinking about selling my iphone4… Musclenerd replied: there’s no way for us to know. We were making great headway with one version til we realized it was SIM dependent (!)
Musclenerd clarified that the exploit they had in their hand is SIM-dependent. Which means, it works on one of the T-Mobile SIMs, but does not work on another. They indeed developed a method where you could “fix” the SIM to work with it, but its far too complicated to be released.
PHEW!! we never thought that that unlocking baseband 02.10.04, 03.10.01 will remain a mystery for them. At least they should have said it before. We will update you as and when we receive more information on it
