Comex has just tweeted couple of messages. The unionfs is still not fixed and giving errors.
From what he’s saying, he’ll keep trying to fix the unionfs errors for a day or two and if he’s not able to fix it, there’s a possibility that he will release the JailbreakMe 3.0, within a few days, but without the unionfs.
This simply means that you’ll still be able to jailbreak your iPad 2, and every iOS device running from iOS 4.2.1 to 4.3.3, but the way the filesystem is reorganized after the jailbreak, will be the same used for the JailbreakMe 2.0 and not the new unionfs system. Then when he’ll be able to finally fix it, he’ll add the unionfs to the exploit.
