Bill Gates is richer than the U.S. Government

U.S. Government is going through a bad phase due to the debt ceiling issue and now people have started to poke fun at the current situation of the country. Earlier this week, Apple Inc. reportedly had more reserve cash than the operating cash of the U.S. Govt.

Business Insider now reports that Microsoft’s co-founder, Bill Gates, is richer than the Federal Govt. According to the report, the powerful nation has around $54 billion amount of money in the bank as compared to $56 billion net worth of Mr. Gates.Although it’s unfair to compare the net worth of a person with the cash in hand, we can’t deny the fact thatBill Gates is technically wealthier than his own country and it could just be embarrassing for the people who have power in their hands.

With the outstanding performance over last few years, companies like Apple, Google and Microsoft have earned great amount of respect as well as revenues from consumers. However, on the other hand, U.S. Govt. is struggling to find any solution to this important problem. If U.S. Govt. doesn’t act quickly and debtceiling keeps on decreasing, then many other companies and individuals will soon become richer than the country.
