Seas0nPass Jailbreak Apple TV 2G

FireCore team has released Seas0nPass which can Jailbreak  Apple TV 2G very easily. However this Jailbreak is tethered which means that Apple TV must be connected with the computer at the start up.

This method of Jailbreak is very simple however I do not  recommend it to new users with such kind of act. Also I recommend it to save your SHSH incase you want to downgrade the firmware.

Before you begin:

• Make sure  that your iTunes are updated to the latest available version.
• Download Seas0nPass
• Make sure you have a micro USB cable which will be required to complete the Jailbreak.

How to Jailbreak Apple TV 2G using Seas0nPass:

1. Download Seas0nPass and unzip it in a folder and launch Seas0nPass.

2.  If your Apple TV is not already unlocked, select “Create IPSW” (if already jailbroken, and you just need to do a ‘tethered boot’ scroll down).

3.   Seas0nPass will automatically download the latest firmware for AppleTV and create the custom firmware.

4.   When prompted, connect Apple TV to your Mac using the micro USB cable and hold down the MENU and PLAY / PAUSE button for 7 seconds (DFU mode).

5.  At this point, iTunes will start automatically and begin the recovery process, with which it will install the custom firmware jailbroken.

6.  Once completed, your Apple TV is now jailbroken.
