Instruction to Permanently Save Your iOS 5.1.1 Untethered Jailbreak

Now that the GM/full release of iOS 6 is right around the corner, it is essential that anyone into jailbreaking retain the ability to downgrade to iOS 5.1.1 if they so wish after upgrading to iOS 6. Today from JBN has posted a vidoe showed the quickest and easiest way, which will allow you to downgrade to the iOS 5.1.1 firmware and then you can re-jailbreak your device using a standard jailbreaking tool. The video below will outline how to do this:

As you can see, the steps outlined are very easy and require nothing but TinyUmbrella and the iOS 5.1.1 firmware specific for your device.

It is important to remember that when Apple release iOS 6, this will no longer work as Apple need to still be signing the iOS 5.1.1 firmware. So be sure to do this ASAP!
