Yeah, the 8 one was really the best iOS so far!) Not because it was something brave new, but because it was a nice replacement for rough and laggy iOS7) Back then, I remember that for some time I wasn't even able to save notes because of stuff with file associations, that sort of thing.. So I have fixed it via this third-part tool, that've found the issues in order to the ways how to open .aae files https://wikiext.com/aae and fixed it for good! You may think that it's weird to plug your phone to PC in be able to save notes properly, but back then it was the only working way, I would say))
