SkyDrive Pro application for iOS

Microsoft has released a new SkyDrive Proapplication for iOS users that runs on the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad universally. Notably, the application is separate fromMicrosoft's existing SkyDrive application in the App Store, which is also free.

The SkyDrive Pro application is free, but of course, you will need to be paying for a SkyDrive Pro or SharePoint account prior to downloading the application in order to use it as Microsoft notes in the application description:

SkyDrive Pro is cloud storage for employees as part of Office 365 or SharePoint Online. You need to already have a SkyDrive Pro account to use this app. This app does not support on-premise deployments of SkyDrive Pro.

SkyDrive Pro is made for handling your work files, while SkyDrive is made for handling your personal files. The application lets you browse through the files you have stored in the cloud, share them with colleagues, add or remove files from the cloud, open files from the cloud, choose to access files offline when a connection to the cloud cannot be made, and more.

To download the new SkyDrive Pro application from the App Store, you can follow this App Store link.
