Ultrasn0w for iOS 5.0 is Coming Tommorow

With the iOS 5 release yesterday, iPhone unlockers are once again asking the same questions to the Dev team members and unlock tool developers. To make things clear, MuscleNerd has confirmed that they are going to release an unlock tool for iOS 5 based iPhones.
It will be a compatibility update for iOS 5 updated devices, and it won’t use any new exploit. MuscleNerd said that Ultrasn0w for iPhone iOS 5 will be released “after a planned MobileSubstrate update tomorrow”. So, you don’t have to wait too long to unlock your iPhone devices with free Ultrasn0w tool.

As far as baseband values are concerned, the upcoming Ultrasn0w tool won’t support new basebands i.e. your iPhone devices must have these baseband values – 01.59.00, 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, and 06.15.00. iPhone Dev team hasn’t developed a new Ultrasn0w unlock tool for iDevices and it may take few more weeks until they release it for public use.

If you want to unlock your *old* iPhone running on iOS 5 firmware, you will need to preserve the baseband value. The Redsn0w developers have incorporated this facility for unlockers.
