PictureMe is Now Available on Cydia

Ever since I got my iPhone 4, not only serving as my phone, it also replaced my point-and-shoot camera. The 5-megapixel camera is simply good enough to shoot pictures casually.
However two common features that used to bundle in point-and-shoot camera are missing in iPhone. Wouldn’t be great if the built-in Camera app comes with self-timer and burst mode support? With a jailbroken iPhone you can now install PictureMe hack to add these features.

Developed by InfectionFX & FilippoBiga, PictureMe tweaks the Camera app to add timer and rapid shot (i.e. burst mode) features. Once you install the hack from cydia, you’ll find a new button in the Camera app. Just tap on the arrow button, you’re allowed to enable the timer or rapid shot to capture multiple pictures. The tweak lets you take up to 5 photos in burst mode. For me, I particularly love the timer that makes it much easier to take self shot.

PictureMe is now available on cydia for $1.99. To use the tweak, you need to have a jailbroken iPhone running iOS 4.2 or up
