MacDefender Malware Fix Coming Soon for Mac Users

Apple has finally decided to provide a software update to remove MacDefender malware from Mac computers. This update will be available in next few days.

MacDefender malware, also known as MacProtector and MacSecurity, has been troubling Mac users with its phishing techniques. Here’s how it actually works -

A recent phishing scam has targeted Mac users by redirecting them from legitimate websites to fake websites which tell them that their computer is infected with a virus. The user is then offered Mac Defender “anti-virus” software to solve the issue.
