New Apple patent published a few days ago revealed a new geo-location service that uses WiMAX transmitters and a new screening process that would allow EMI to create mobile devices much thinner than at present.
The process of shielding EMI would have a protection of the interior of a device much thinner, reducing weight and thickness of future iPhone. In addition to this patent, Apple also introduced a new geo-location service based on WiMAX transmitters. This system would enable geo-locate a GPS device even without the availability of, through triangulation of WiMAX transmitters
