DigiTimes has reported that manufacturers of the iPad 2 have given Apple 2.4-2.6 million units of the device, which is fair to estimate is mostly in the hands of satisfied customers.The report also says that Apple may be stepping up production, making about 4-4.3 million units of the iPad 2 each month in the next quarter, to a possible 12 million iPads.
It does seem like demand for the device is going down, but it’s fair to estimate these powerful tablets won’t be having a hard time being sold for a long while — at least until the iPad 3.
