RobT43@imuggle chpwn: Twizzler (removes the spammy new "trends bar" or "quickbar") is now out for free in Cydia
Twizzler, a new jailbreak tweak, will remove the annoying new trending bar in thenew 3.3 version of Twitter for iPhone. The tweak was just recently released for free by @chpwn who has contributed several apps including ProSwitcher and had a hand in several jailbreak tools.
I’m still baffled as to why Twitter did not give us the option to choose whether or not we wanted it in settings. Either way, you’ll have to be jailbroken in order for this to work. Simply download the tweak for free from Cydia and it should just work. If you go back into Twitter and the trending bar is still there, close Twitter out of the multitasking tray and relaunch it. It should be gone after you do that.
